Spanish lawmakers overwhelmingly approve 3rd Greek bailout, country to supply about 10B euros

1	MADRID - Spanish lawmakers have overwhelmingly approved the government's support for the 86 billion euro ($93 billion) bailout package for Greece.
2	Members of the nation's lower house of parliament voted 297-20 in support of the third Greek bailout already backed by the administration of Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.
3	Tuesday's vote was largely symbolic because Rajoy's Popular Party holds an absolute majority in Parliament.
4	Spain will supply 10.1 billion euros to the Greek bailout.
5	Its officials have been hawkish in demanding that Greece abide by strict terms such as budget cuts and reforms.
6	Spain asked for and received a bailout of its hurting banks in 2012.
