Greece government aiming for Sept 20 as election date

1	The Greek government says it's still aiming for a Sept.
2	20 election date after the prime minister resigned because of a rebellion in his party over the terms of the country's new bailout deal.
3	Government spokeswoman Olga Gerovassili told Greek state TV ERT on Sunday that "as things stand now, Sept. 20 is a feasible election date."
4	Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras resigned Thursday.
5	Opposition leader Evangelos Meimarakis, who was asked to form a government, is expected to inform Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos Monday that he has failed.
6	Panayotis Lafazanis, former minister and leader of Popular Unity party, will be handed a mandate.
7	If he also fails, a national unity government is possible and if that doesn't work, Parliament will be dissolved and a caretaker administration sworn in.
